Our beautiful warm pool “Beedinglee” in Lower Beeding graduates from 0.5 metres to 2.5 metres, which is the safest depth to teach diving. We teach children from as young as three years old to dive. All of our teachers are qualified to teach diving following Swim England’s Flip and Fun programme.
The majority of children love to learn how to dive. It is so important to teach diving properly and in the correct depth for obvious health and safety reasons – the minimum depth to dive is 1.8 metres.
We keep our skills and qualifications up to date in teaching swimming, life guarding, first aid and aquatics by regularly attending continuous professional development training courses. I believe this keeps us “fresh” and motivated.
